Centenary of Portuguese Animation: National school animation
Every month, Cinemateca Portuguesa hosts MONSTRA for a session celebrating 100 years of Portuguese animation. In November, the usual session at Casa do Cinema will host a series of national animated films produced in a school context – some of the first films by many great talents from yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Always looking to the future, the festival enthusiastically explores visual effects, games, augmented reality, the metaverse… In its next edition, MONSTRA will be present with Portuguese cinematography.
