Even though the competitions have already ended, we remind you that you can still watch the sessions for the Awarded Films, both at Cinema São Jorge and Cinema Ideal.

The Awarded Short Films 1 session will take place Sunday, March 18, at 5pm in Room 3 of Cinema São Jorge. You will be able to watch or rewatch films such as Sleepy by Marta Monteiro (best Portuguese Short Film – Spautores | Vasco Granja Award), Penelope by Heta Jäälinoja (best Student Short Film), The Box by Merve Cirisoglu Cotur (Grand Prix MONSTRINHA) and Cnn Colorscope: Black by Matt Abbiss (best Super Short).

At Cinema City Alvalade, at 10pm, the Awarded Short Films 2 will highlight films such as Negative Space by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata (best Short), Drop by Drop by Laura Gonçalves and Alexandra Ramires (best Portuguese Short and honorable mention), Hedgehog’s Home by Eva Cvijanovic (MONSTRINHA Audience Award) and One Morning at The Market (best Portuguese Super Short).

In regard to the feature films, Have A Nice Day by Chinese director Liu Jian, the winner of the Judge Special Prize, will be screened Sunday, March 18, at 8pm, in Room 3 of Cinema São Jorge.

In turn, the winner of this year’s Grand Prix MONSTRA, Cinderella The Cat, will be screened again on Monday, March 19, at 10pm in Cinema Ideal. This Italian film by directors Ivan Cappiello, Marino Guarnieri, Alessandro Rak and Dario Sansone will top off these unforgettable Awarded sessions perfectly.
