MONSTRAlive comes as the chance to finally go back to the cinema screens in 2020.

A place for sharing, a meeting of friends, MONSTRAlive is an animation film festival that will take place from 29 september to 10 october in several venues in Lisbon: Cinema City Alvalade, Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema, Cinema Fernando Pessoa at Universidade Lusófona, Auditório Camões at Liceu Camões and Cinemateca Júnior.

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary and we wish to bring to you all the best and most recent productions in animation of the World.

In this live edition we will be screening the films in the Feature Film Competition, a 20th anniversary program, Family sessions, a Classic Animation cycle, and a MONSTRA and the WORLD program where we will revisit some of the countries than were guests of the festival throughout these past 20 years.
