A dialogue between abstract painting and experimental, improvised music, these two minutes focus on the contrast of soft and floating versus hard and rhythmic. Like in all early works of Martin Anibas, we are reminded of the American West Coast animation avant gardists of the 1970s and 1980s.

A horrible monster pounces on a planet which looks like a Tirolean dumpling and begins to devour it. Graffiti artist Georg Dienz proposed the script for this music video, a composition of his brother Christof.

‘Electrocardiographs’ is a music video commissioned by musician Ceschi Ramos. While on tour, Ramos stopped by Kohlweis’ apartment, between soundcheck and a show, where they filmed one single take of him lip synching the song in front of a cheap IKEA blanket. Kohlweis spent a month animating frame-by-frame over the footage.
